Yea, "This too shall pass" lol. I actually graduated from college over a year ago but jobs are ridiculously scarce in my hometown, it's terrible. I gotta move out one way or another though, this sucks man.

One of my favorite Yankees in recent memory, Hideki Matsui, signed a 1-year deal with the LA Angels today. This is a sad day for me. Ever since he signed with the Yanks before the 2003 season, he's been one of my favorite players. He was always very professional, carried himself very well, and was a tremendous ambassador of the newly-globalized game of baseball.
In a bit of irony, the Angels will be at Yankee Stadium for the home opener in April, so Matsui will be there to see the World Championship banner get raised. Very fitting, considering it would've been very hard to win the World Series this year without him. Who can forget the 6 RBIs that he had in the series-clinching Game 6 against the Phillies?
So, thank you, Hideki Matsui, for all of the great seasons, clutch hits, and for introducing sushi to Yankee Stadium.Comment

Apparently one of my youtube vids is popular enough that I can sign up for a partnership and actually make money off of it.
I haven't exactly checked out the details regarding how it works yet. Either way though, I can't do it because that video is RE related. And I'm pretty sure I can't legally profit off of footage that, even if I recorded it, is legally Capcom's property (i.e. that's why Darkside Chronicles vids are being removed)

If it's parody, I think it's acceptable. It mustn't be mistaken for an official product.
They're cranking down on gameplay videos? I think that's lame. I'm not a fan of watching someone play for 3hours unedited, but I use youtube playthroughs to judge a game way more than I trust the "official" promotional sites.Comment

My synth is fucking up. I was playing with it then all of a sudden it turned off. I tried re-plugging it back in and still nothing. I did find out what the problem is. The plug in part for the synth it's loose. But I dont have the money to fixed the damn thing because of christmas.

Goddamn it!
Every time the Bastards Inc. phone company goes down the road to make "repairs" everything breaks. Now my phone is giving me static, or just plain isn't working and my internet connection is dying every few minutes, it takes 10 minutes to get the connection back up and running and it happens every fucking three weeks and takes THREE MONTHS to get it repaired and even then when it's repaired they make it WORSE.
I'm pissed off because I've been expecting some important phone calls regarding jobs, land, family matters and was supposed to have some work done online but I can't do the online stuff because it dies each time I try to do anything AND my mobile has started mucking up because I haven't been able to get a new one, so I can't exactly use that.
Always the way, fucking Telstra needing to touch the phone line. I will have to resist the urge to lob phone books at them from my house's balcony when they come to "repair" their screw up in a few months.
There's other stuff I'm cranky about, but this is just pissing me off as it constantly happens regardless where I live in the country, Telstra staff constantly screw up connections somehow doubled with the worst customer service (like, being charged a few hundred when we weren't with them and then ONCE AGAIN when weren't with them AND they accidentally completely disconnected the phone line for a couple of months AFTER coming out for repairs for one of our neighbours).
I'm not going to sit on hold for a few good hours, be told it's my computers and whatever the hell else I have connected (
), then have to wait a few months for it to be fixed, only to have them come back a couple of weeks later and screw it up AGAIN.
So, they say they'll fix it tomorrow. I assume that it'll be five months before it's fixed though, 'cause nothing can be done around Christmas or in January with that backlog of pissed off customers and non-customers.
