Oh, it's been fake for years and years. It never stopped me enjoying it though. It takes careful planning and physical robustness to do the crap they do. Since you can't do a lot of the stuff without, you know, getting hurt. It's not all fake. Read Mick Foley's book and see what happened to his ear. And teeth. And ribs. And head.

Wow, this thread was a mess. I have to say that Brian's comment was hilarious and then the ironic twist you just imposed just puts the icing on the cake.

In any case, I haven't really been into wrestling since I discovered how planned out much of it is. It's kind of a turn off when you realise what you’re watching is meant to fool you..in a sense that they want you to think it's real. I'm not sure if the newer wrestling entertainment is false as I have yet to watch any of it. Im glad the industry is still thriving though.

It's also funny when people started to talk about WWE being PG around 2006'ish and to what your saying it was before the Attitude Era. And wikipedia is not always accurate but I'm pretty sure info like this is since the PG part is common sense.
