Just thought I'd ask about Sheva. How big a story does she get, or is she just the tag along side kick? I think it'd suck if that was all she did, she needs at least some of a story.

Or a place in a sequel ;] I don't want her to go the same way as Billy etc

Sheva seemingly plays a big role but not really. She really ends up just being someone to help Chris and doesn't get any real character development. She has a bond with Josh , who trained her, like a brother/sister kind of bond, and that she joined the BSAA because her parents were killed in an "accident" working for Umbrella. Other than that it was just the "Follow Chris Show".

She did have one almost breakthrough. When Chris stated his real reasoning for accepting the mission was in regards to him hearing intel that Jill was still alive...she argued with him that it might not be the same person. Also seemed like at first she wanted to get out of there instead of continue to fight. Didnt last and she went back to being boring.

I also found her hatred of Wesker to be really forced. The ending makes it seem like Sheva really hates him, which was ironic because only a couple feet away was Jill Valentine who in my opinion had even more reason to hate Wesker then Chris. But who gets to fire the RPG at Wesker? Sheva.

Yeah, I mean I didnt mind her...but she just seemed really dull at times. Chris, you could really see his determination once he revealed why he was in Kijuju. Almost every cutscene was him trying to find out about Jill and then later his need and want to take down Wesker. Although I did notice a bit of awkwardness between Jill and Sheva, can't say thats unusual though.

Sheva really comes across well in one scene near the end, a QTE battle before the last boss. Its just I still can't find her actual hatred of Wesker to be that genuine. I mean sure, her people were suffering and Wesker wanted to end the world...but towards the end (which could of only of been an hour or two after she met Wesker for the first time) she seemed to have as much personal hatred for him as Chris. Made no sense. I don't think she will end up being terribly popular though but I wouldn't mind seeing her again in a game as a support.

Yeah I thought that was very stupid how Jill lets Sheva fire the rocket I got the feeling that they wanted us to think she was very hurt but at that point she looked fine. Maybe Jill has feelngs for Wesker or something god know's, as usual there's alot of small stupid things wrong with the game but thats Resident Evil. Also Chris wanted to leave after he saved Jill but she convinces him to go after Wesker which was another good touch by Capcom. I really wanna know what the relationship is between Chris and Jill I mean they are either deeply madly in love or it's like a brother and sister thing. Either way they really love each other. That was awesome. As far as seeing Sheva again?? Lol nah thanks you can keep dat game away from me. If I said it once I'll say it a million times long as the next game's main character isnt Leon or Sheva Im in, If it is one of them? Think I take a Resi break again.

Just a note, the mode that we will unlock after the game is defeated, the one everyone knows about but which i will remain not saying, will indeed have a co-op mode in it. A patch is coming march 5th called duo mode, which will allow players to tackle this mini game with a partner online, the link is in the news thread.

Okay, I have a question about something that's really been bugging me regarding the Progenitor Virus.

If the Progenitor Virus is so ridiculously powerful, then why did Marcus even bother creating the T-Virus? Is this a new strain of the Progenitor Virus or something? And if so, why were they even researching the Progenitor Virus in the first place and not trying to improve the T, G, or T-Veronica viruses?
