Chance for Outbreak to be ported to XBL/PSN?

I never had a chance to experience online...to be hoenst I just recently got into RE at the start of the year, and Outbreak 1/2 were my first games. I was way late for the servers. xD

What was it like? I hear a lot of dicks played online, which seems to be true even now of online play, so says friends of mine that have 360/PS3.

Don't ask me, I never went online either. I had dial up when the Outbreak games were online. I might buy a Japanese PS2 though, by around December-January. Honestly, if people want to go back on this so badly just purchase a Japanese PS2, thats what I'm doing soon.

There weren't that many, just was damn annoying as they'd only show their true colours nearer the end of a scenario.

I hope they do re release it but I think Capcom is too lazy to update the graphics.

I don't understand why Left 4 Dead is still more popular. Aren't people sick of playing the same 4 characters, who as far as I know all play the same? The characters glide all over like they were just one path animation. And the levels I played were pretty much one big corridor, it was impossible to get lost.

While I enjoy Left 4 Dead, I still prefer the Outbreaks. As far as Left 4 Dead being more popular, my guess is it's because of more action, faster gameplay, lack of "bad" camera angles (first-person), easier-to-learn controls, characters who are identical (except for looks), and no "crappy story" getting in the way. But that's what the public wants - simple, mindless action shooters with little plot.

Left 4 Dead is a game I pick up a few times a month and play through a scenario. The Outbreaks were games I played nearly every day.
