That the hall of the original mansion is a bit darker because of less illumination gives the place a denser atmosphere and makes it just a little bit scarier. I like the idea.

Overlooked this first time watching. That was a simple detail that gives so much atmosphere to the "dark theme".
At first glance, I thought that the mansion revisit was a lazy idea, but after seeing all the trailers again I've got to admit that I feel pretty excited, since this is how we might know how the STARS got their asses munched.

This looks frickin sweet.

Just watching that trailer had me more unsettled and feeling kind of scared, than a lot of the recent RE games.

Wish I could find a PC version of RE2 for this.

Those zombie kids (shudder), couldn't help but get a Silent Hill type vibe from them and the teddy bear.
