Just had a discussion with Enetirnel about the lineup. You know who Lone Wolf is? Lone Wolf is the guy at the Resident Evil cosplay party who couldn't think of a cool Raccoon city character to come as so they threw together a bunch of stuff and made up some phony bologna story about being a USS pilot from the classic games.

I don't think there are any other ones. 1) They'd have no reason to announce all players in one announcement - more likely announce in pairs of 2 until release rather than all but 2 at once. 2) It seems intentional that Capcom has kept Chris and Leon out of eachothers' games where since 5's Merc/Merc Reunion/Mercs 3DS because if they appear together they likely want it to be a full game. 3) This mode sounds like "GoldenEye Reloaded"s 'Heroes' mode (which, itself, is a variant of CoD's Juggernaut mode) where one player on each team is chosen to be the "Hero". The rest of the team are generic MP mode classes. I HOPE all players in ORC's version can be Classic characters but I expect this to be pretty much the same as the 007 version (which, now that I think about it, is similar to 'Star Wars: Battlefront').Originally posted by Archelon View PostWell, if you think about it, they've only got four of the six possible classes represented so far in both the heroes and villains.
That suggests to me that there are still two more characters for each side that have yet to be revealed. For Heroes, I would guess Chris and maybe Barry (he's probably the most likely since he was actually in RE3), and Villians would obviously have to be Wesker and someone else. Maybe Mikhail?
My main point was I don't think we'll see additional characters unless they're post-release DLC but even that seems unlikely. And people that are interested should be wary as the mode will likely be the best MP has to offer but may not be as good as it sounds. I, personally, think it sucks if it's modeled after these other games' modes as I'd like to choose my team and Classic character rather than be placed randomly on a team with a random chance of getting a random Classic character if I am randomly chosen to be the team "Hero".

I just realised the irony of saying 'Hey, we're on the same side' after saying I'll be using Nicholai. He's on no-one's side!

As one of the Resident Gays on this forum, I'd like to state that Jill is not wearing too much make up at all, and I question whether some people have ever actually seen a porn star. Because they wear an obscene amount.
But they have to, because you never know what is going to be slung at your face, and you can't have your eye shadow running when it happens.

Maybe when Resident Evil 3 was released, Capcom wanted to make her more akin to Lara Croft and sex appeal, they have the same colour tubetop/shirt but that's all I can really base it on.
A more modern club look than a sexy adventurer, but that was years ago so we may never know.

It's sad about Jill - do Capcom only have a certain amount of years to use a likeness? Is that why we've had a sudden change (all of which can't stand up to how Jill is portrayed in Remake, UC and 5).
Also - I'll probs be rolling in as Claire or Ada, probs Claire as I've just watched Degeneration again and she really steals every single scene she's in - amazing.

I admit, I don't like the make up. Going to look for your missing brother? Slap on the make up. Going to try and survive zombie apocolypse? Slap on some make up. Going to try and convince some clueless git to give you a smaple of a lethal virus? Slap on some make up. OK, so Ada actually makes some sense...
Jill's clothes have never made sense. I still find the excuses for her dressing up insane. It's unlikely she was caught up in the very initial part of the outbreak and couldn't possibly go anywhere else - you see her sitting on her bed dressed like that. Plus she had to have some idea it was coming. People at the RPD would have mentioned to her, 'Oh hey, you know those kills you went to investigate and came back with crazy talk about Umbrella and zombies? They're happening in the city now.' So she had some idea it was coming. And I doubt she was dressing for comfort either - I'm told boob tubes aren't especially comfortable. She'd almost certainly have access to military style clothing much better suited to not being dead.
Make up just makes it look like she decided it was time to go clubbing during a zombie apocalypse. I mean, OK, I can see a bit of lip gloss or something, but full eye liner and mascara seems little much.

So, you also shoot people in the back.... who doesn't eh?Originally posted by Mr. Rod View PostAnd yes, like you said, it doesn't really matter becuase 90% of the time you see them from their backs anyway.

They're not. This is ridiculous. Jill's been compared to a lady of the night since her RE3 attire and it's not going to change just because of "make-up". This was how she casually dressed until the outbreak hit her. It's fanservice, but up until Umbrella Chronicles they never went all out with any over-the-top stunts so she still retained some class and decency.
And let the Jilluminados comments commence.

Are they wearing "too much" makeup, though? I think people is just complaining for complaining. Nothing surprising I guess.Originally posted by Pikminister View PostWearing TOO MUCH make-up makes them look like one. That was the point being made.
@Hcloud13 Its not just the eyes but the mouth. Jill has the mouth of Julia Roberts in ORC.
But I agree with Dracarys... it doesn't really matter how they look like. Especially in a game such as this one.
Like I said before, when running n gunning you'll barely notice such details.

I don't think she looks that bad either. She look closer to Julia Voth in ORC then the more recent attempts in M3D and Revelations. They kept her nose, mouth and bone structure...they just tweked with her eyes a bit. Insted of a full rounded eyes they gave it more of an asian look.Originally posted by Smiley View PostAt least Jill looks better in game than she does from that FMV in the trailer.
