Brad would be interesting to see, but they always seem to avoid minor characters...

I wouldn't mind seeing a B.O.W. or Tyrant mode introduced. I said it back when they were making Mercenaries 3D, that it would be fun to play as the enemies for a change. Dead Space tested this out a bit on their versus maps. You had the option of being a Necromorph and just got to kill anything in site. I would really like the chance to be G4 Birkin, and attack everything. They could even do "Implant" as an attack, and have people bursting at the chest as "G" subjects break free.

Or I could even handle being a T-103, or Nemesis...Or even a zombie...

But I realize it isn't going to happen.

Looks like fun. I really do not give a crap if minor features on characters are different, you can look at them all and know who they are clearly. They've all changed over the years ith different graphic and art styles, does it really need be the main topic for every reveal of every game?

Beauregard is right , well see the cg Jill ? shown in the trailer , this one looks better than the in game one , cuz the in game one kind of has Shiny Make up + too much over used ..... , and what the hell is wrong with her low polygon hair , her Umbrella chronicles + REmake are the best soo far -__- same for carlos for sure !

Not at all. I was simply saying (as Pikminister said) that they are both wearing far too much makeup. They're simply too "pretty" for the situation. If they were running around firing guns and whatnot they'd be a little more disheveled, and they certainly wouldn't be wearing much makeup (if any at all).

I could see Claire riding into the city wearing a little makeup, but based on her tomboyish personality I don't see her as the type to be caked in it. As for Jill, seeing as how she knew that the city was filled with zombies, why would she be wearing any makeup? She was just trying to get the hell out of dodge, and I doubt she cared if she looked sexy while she did it. The revealing clothes are also odd, but just wearing them doesn't necessarily make one look like a porn star. The entire package of ORC's Jill looks like a porn star. An 18-year-old porn star.

Women in video games have always been "sexually overdone" due to the younger male target audience, but there's a limit. For a series that at least tries to have some semblance of reality, this borders on absurd. I get them looking somewhat sexy (like RE games in the past), but not like porn stars. It's like they're trying to make this game a zombie kill-fest, a COD rip-off, and a 14-year-old boy's wet dream. Pick a direction, Slant Six!

Considering how Jill is dressed, I think the amount of makeup she's wearing is pretty inconsequential.

I have met and known quite a few gorgeous female police officers and members of the military over the years. But even if the stereotype were true, how many real police officers and soldiers do you think the developers have actually interacted with? More than likely, their best resources are television or movies, where everyone looks like a super model, regardless of profession.

You might think a Western developer would better understand the difference, but in Slant Six's defense, they're just following the precedent set by Capcom Japan.

I honestly like this look for Ada, as she seems more realistic somehow. The gun looks terrible, though - they really need to up the textures.



Initially I thought that they took Claire's model from Darkside, but unfortunately I'm wrong. I think she looked her best in Darkside, and while she's fine here, too, I don't see why Slant Six keeps trying to fix things that aren't broken.

Best look out of all the characters, in my opinion. We never really saw Nicholai with nice graphics (aside from those Outbreak scenes, and he looked odd there), so this is cool. I don't remember him having facial scars, although given his line of work it isn't far-fetched.

The other characters range from decent to ridiculous. Leon looks a bit too glossy to me, as he did in Darkside. HUNK and "Lone Wolf" (what a stupid character) look fine, and Carlos... yeah... they need to fix that one, pronto.
