By the way, I think there are less ink ribbons in the B scenario than there are in the A scenario.

RE2 PC is called RE2 Platinum, even thought that "Platinum" is nowhere to be found on the box. There's no other PC versions (ok, there's also that version made by Source Next, that is compatible with WinXP and was released only in Japan, but that doesn't countOriginally posted by Skunky View PostThese 'sketches and video galleries'. They are on the pc Platinum edition and not on any other? I've got RE2 on pc but it's not Platinum (it came in a big white box).

Oh nooo... I've been playing Beta 2 now for the past two hours, and it just crashed on me when I entered the vent shaft where you burn the plant vines. God damnit, I never saved either. What a disaster. I guess I'll room jump to the point.

Holy shit, awsome mouse pad!
PO, that's a cool video! I'll have to try it later. BTW, Neo (The One) by Slyder is 7 years old, and still my favourite trance track ever

I'm confused... need help
So, the time and ranking after a Hunk and Tofu mission is not on the GC version? I could check this myself but I'm a bit lazy.
It's strange because I've got memories of looking at my time and rank after completing 4th Survivor and I've only played various Playstation versions and the GC version.

Is there such a thing as a Playstation RE2 Platinum?
What about that ps1 Greatest Hits version. The one with the lime green strip on the side of the cover. Does that have anything extra?
To add to my confusion I've been using this mouse pad for years, so I'm always looking at 'RE2 Platinum'.

Yes. The GC version is identical to the DS one, sans the ability to skip the cutscenes.Originally posted by Dot50Cal View PostWell, since the Gamecube version appears to be a port of the Dual Shock PS1, I doubt it will have those screens and the timer/ranking
.
Technically, it's a blessing since the DC version was based on the PC one which had lower quality music (a bit MIDI-ish/ save room music is the most obvious). The track of the precinct's exterior was missing too.
Nightmare mode aside, the DC version is my least favorite because of the controller and to an extent, the music. I haven't played it in a few years.
EDIT: I should have the saves up soon. I had to cut my vacation 5 days short due to what I think is a cold.Last edited by Umon Daisuke; 09-16-2008, 11:20 AM.

I meant new to the version (as opposed to none), not an improvement over any older results screen. Sorry if that caused any confusion.Originally posted by A-J View Postisn't the PS1 screen the same thing ?
Haha I used to have fun doing that. I also saw your quick turn vid. Really interesting stuff...Originally posted by Project Omega View Posthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csDE3Y1z8zI
Boredom can cause one to achieve wierd things... I figured I'd share this. I need to change the music. 8 year old techno/trance isn't awesome anymore
