and HK-47 and Bastila.
KOTOR had one of the best storys ive ever heard before, i wonder what Revan is doing, and what happened to the mandalorians, they should maybe make a prequel as well maybe, about what happened in the mandalorian wars and all that.

New most anticipated game for me here.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. Holy goddamn fucking shit yes. The first game was the best movie-based game ever made and one of my favorites FPS's. This edition includes a remake of that one (which hopefully won't cause my 64-bit Vista to shit brix every 30 minutes like Butcher Bay did) as well as an entirely new campaign that's just as long as the original AND a multiplayer mode.

Yes. Eternal Darkness is one of those games that "needs" to be there next to your other (horror?) games, definitively. Of course, it loses a bit of its charm when people have done a fantastic job in spoiling every single event in the game, as it's not just all about the story (although, it is rather heavily replayable, thanks to the endings)Originally posted by AlexiaAshford View PostGet Eternal Darkness. It's one of the best standalone games I've ever played.
Ahah, it was. It's very noticable during the few pre-recorded FMV scenes in the game.Originally posted by The Dude View PostI thought Eternal Darkness was just a N64 game which was ported to GC during Development and tarted up somewhat for the console?
It played with quite a lot of 4th wall breaking stuff that made it extra awesome. Especially when you, your grandmother and the frontpage of New York Time didn't know about any of it. And it had a lot of subtle little evil details too that most people missed out on (No clue how they did. Maybe they played with low volume, while half-drunk at a party and on a camping TV at the beach or something... I dunno.)Originally posted by Biohazard EX View PostThat wasn't like, horror scary. It was like, "Aww crap, you stupid machine" scary. It wasn't horror, it was more like, mindfuck. It was cool and effective the first time around. But it didn't creep me out.

Well, unfortunately, whoever publishes it, owns it. So Nintendo can get anyone to develop it. They could contact Capcom and say, "You wanna make the next Eternal Darkness for us?" if they wanted. I mean, usually, publishers tend to keep the same developers for a franchise, since they were the guys that made the first game what it was in the first place. So you don't see it too often. But it's Nintendo's property, so they can do whatever they want with it.
EDIT:
My very most anticipated game?
Uncharted 2!!! Woot!

Ugh.. not keen on that to be honest, I don't even want to think how the Wii-Mote will be implemented into gameplay. I'm not a big fan of sequels of old games anyway, usually it's just disappointment. Mass Effect is fairly new though so I know that sequel won't be a letdown.

Nintendo owns the entire franchise, they published it. The sequel will be a Wii exclusive, published by Nintendo once again.

The game is defined as "psychological horror". I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel and hope Silicon Knights will invest in it, I've even PM'ed Dennis Dyack on the Too Human forums before but got no reply. I'm not sure what will happen because of this Nintendo exclusivity on the sanity bar effect.
