See, that's why I was like, "Well, that's awesome, but that can't be realtime PS3 graphics."

But according to David Jaffe (the guy who created God of War, but isn't actually working on this one), he saw the work they were doing and those were his words, "like a painting come to life."
Even if those were pre-rendered, I'm sure that whatever real time there will be, will no doubt be beyond anything we've seen on the current generation so far.

I think RE5 will have great graphics! But that doesn't mean I'm discounting other games. I know a LOT of games that have stunning visuals, Biochock, God of War, Tomb Raider, Okami, REmake, RE:UC, Rule of Rose, etc...etc...

Well, according to the ever awesome Victor Lucas, God of War 3 is actually set to release sometime next year. And from what I hear, it's probably going to be the best looking video game in history. It has been described as a painting come to life. Finally, the PS3 will be used to it's full potential.

i love GOW 1 and 2, i played Chains of Olympus's first level on my friends PSP.

and knowing GOW it's graphics will be amazing, i daresay they will be better than RE0's graphics, if you guys know elusion, i thinks he is on this site, he was raving on about how RE5 is gonna have TEH BEST GRAPHICS EVAH!!!!! i loled at him and said RE5 cant even compare to Remake then said GOW3 will pwn it then he cried about how he doesn't like GOW and it doesn't count and crap like that.

You should definitely start it up again. I dunno why you didn't get into it... Personally, I found some parts in the first GOW dragged a bit, but if that's the case for you, just grind through it. Because the second one is much more fun. And the graphics are amazing for a PS2 game.
