BIG EDIT: Just finished it, 36 hours 42mins,

100% Paragon Bar with everyone Loyal and surviving the Suicide mission with lv 25 Soldier first time *also having relationship with Miranda as I made sure the Shep was single in ME1 and confirmed it in ME2*, Party going into Suicide mission was the Shep and Thane with Garrus, sending Legion into the Vent and having Miranda lead the first Fire Team, originally intended to send Jacob, but after Miranda's sarcastic jibe about leadership I immediately reloaded and put Miranda in charge.

2nd stop I had the Shep, Garrus and Thane again, with Miranda leading Squad 2, and Tali Escorting the Survivors of the Normandy back with Samara using her biotics when escorting the Shep *I immediately took on the collectors following the abduction so they were all alive when I got there*.

Once again, all survived, Final point I had the Shep, Garrus and Thane, however I lost to the 2nd incarnation of the last boss *bad aiming and not paying attention to my lifebar*, so I reloaded after seeing the moral choice the Illusive man forces on you, putting Miranda in the team with Thane, just as well I did otherwise I would have missed the incidental dialogue between Illusive man and Her which was pretty cool.

Bloody awesome ending, can't wait for 3, will replay as a Vanguard on a previous colonist/war hero savestate where the Shep was in a relationship with Liara.

Really enjoy the game and the end was awesome. The Human Reaper was brilliant, and totally not expecting it. Just something creepy about standing there and having this big mecha-skeleton looking down on you, knowing its filled with liquified people. Also totally wasn't expecting the twist with the Collectors being Protheans. I thought I knew a lot of the games plot but I was pleasantly suprised.

Well the ending was amazing. That scene with the hundreds of reapers flying was just nreath taking. I loved the last mission and especially the boss battle with the human reaper! this reaper was very freaky and al;so a brilliant surprise i really didnt expect that. Sadly Thane died as i messed up his loyalty mission it was a big shame as i liked Thane. Also i had a relationship with miranda (my ME1 shep had a relationship with Ashley but they both part ways when they meet up in this game) and was glad to see that she left Cerburus. Also i decided to completely destroy the collectors base rather than spare the technology

If someone is playing the PC version of Mass Effect 2 and is bored by the slow planet scanning - you can change move speed of the reticle via configuration file (Mass Effect 2 location\BioGame\Config\PC\Cooked\Coalesced.ini). You just need to change the value of ScanReticleMoveSpeed variable. Setting it to 0.12 helps a lot.

And about the game itself, I'm about 20 hours in and still have three or four people to recruit and few loyal missions to do. While I didn't like all those changes in ME2 at first, I do love them now. ME2 is so much fluid game than ME1.

Breaking up with Ashley technically isn't true, if you had the full blown relationship/sex scene in ME1 you're in a relationship with her out and out, when you meet her in ME2 regardless of how the meeting went, you're still technically in a relationship as you should have received a mail from Ashley pretty much expressing your feelings, although you can choose the "Thats History" option when Kelly asks you about Ash in the CIC, I suppose that would absolve you of the whole unfaithfulness part in ME2, however if you chose to be faithful instead of the obligatory sex scene with a ME2 crewmate, the Shep will look at a photo of Ash instead and give off a weirdish smile before the final mission.

I did intentionally play with a ME1 imported character which was single *meaning no photo of a ME1 character on his desk = IM SINGLE!!! OH BEHAVE*

EDIT: I must be the only person who enjoyed the scanning :S, I spent alot of time doing it, using the left stick to move right while scanning and holding right on the right stick made scanning a bit faster.

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the game despite some aspects that I feel are shortcomings. Really, my main complaint was with the endgame:

The Terminator. Yes, I understood the process behind creating it/why it was created. I just disagree with the art style of the thing. I had a hard time not laughing at the absurdity of it all. It just didn't feel like it belonged in the Mass Effect Universe. I thought I might have been playing Contra for a second.

Not that im aware of, from what i've read theres no you're being unfaithful scene in ME2, its supposed to be a trilogy so if you're playing the field, you'll probably pay for it in ME2, I made sure my Shepard was single in ME1 so I wouldn't have to deal with that in ME2 but still got the dialogue from Kelly implying Ashley and Shepard were in a relationship, you even get it if you were in a relationship with Liara though I read so I suppose its just bad game design,

It spiraled out of control faster than anyone thought it would. About two weeks ago, Erik Brudvig posted IGN's review of Mass Effect 2, and in 14 article comments, the fight was on.

"How in the hell does mass effect 2 get a higher score than uncharted 2, I read the game is not perfectly polished, sound cuts out, characters get stuck in the environment and full game crashes occur," wrote IGN user 360andps3ownerJerk. "And you 360 biased idiots give it a better score than U.C2"

The thing that a lot of people missed, however, is that Mass Effect 2 is indeed a better game than Uncharted 2, and I don't know how readers can be so blinded by their fanboyism to deny it.
