Resident Evil 2 Remake being developed by fans (authorized)

The reason I hate 2001 was when i found out Spyro 4 was not being developed by Insomniac. I was crushed.

Yeah me too.....When Sony was releasing small batches of PS2's overseas (US anyway) I went on a damn crusade to get myself one and went to like 6-7 stores just to find out they all got snatched up. I got pissed off and splurged at Fry's Electronics and waited for it on Christmas later that year or the next and my 1st game for it being.....(drum roll)... Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.

I got my first PS2 for Christmas in 2001; my first games were Resident Evil: Code Veronica X and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. I remember going to Fry's Electronics that day looking for a unit but they had sold out.

Sega scrapped them all the time because they suck and can't come up with solid ideas.They now just profit off their nostalgia by porting half assed ports of their games.IMO Jet Set Radio HD on PSN was the only decent re-release they did.

now resident evil without mikami is no longer the survival horror, I hope that after this project returns with his creature ever (Resident evil).

Whether Mikami onboard is a good or a bad thing for a survival horror game is somewhat debatable.

It was "authorized" the same way "Let's Play" Youtube videos based on Capcom games were authorized.

Capcom just looks the other way... but the moment they hear some coinage being exchanged, then they'll make a move.

I just pointed that RE was no longer survival horror when Mikami was still there. His departure is not the reason for RE to not being survival horror these days.

Sonic CD was a great re-release aswell, it had alot of new things (play as tails and sonic 2 style spindash) and both the original and US soundtracks

Yes that is one good thing Sega did re release. But for the most part Sega doesn't make anything new anymore.
