Does Chris get a description file? I didn't get one after beating Game of Oblivion. (If someone wants to transcribe it, awesome, because I won't have much time in the coming days to beat the game)

Anyway, I actually didn't find the CV scenario so badly done. What they omitted was made up with the reinterpretations of what they did decide to include. I loved how they dealt with Steve's plot in particular.

One thing I didn't notice until I was playing today and just kind of screwing around was that if you're doing a really bad job shooting or aren't killing enemies in a timely fashion, your partner will actually comment about it, even complain. I thought it was a nice touch.

I think that there's room for improvement regarding the storytelling. Besides the major plothole that Wesker wasn't infected with the T, there are characters who appeared just for the sake of appearing (Chief Brian Irons, Ben Bertolucci etc). It will have been better if they flesh out the Operation Javier story too, such as the life of Javier's wife. Did they explain the sacred snake or whatever its' called?

I hope they will consult the Biohazard Umbrella Archives which they wrote to refresh their memory before they make the game. But too be fair, I like the returning creatures such as the Plague Crawler and the Lurker.

I do have to agree with the Leon x Ada relationship...I wish they have had Ada following Leon and Claire through the sewers (perhaps having found Sherry's locket, adding a new dynamic to Annette calling her a thief in the girl fight cutscene) so that Leon and Ada can exchange some more dialogue, and even incorporating the fact that Mr.X is after her.

In my opinion, they should have ditched the attempt at making the romance and focused more on Ada being a seasoned spy and Sherry being infected and the aftermath once they escaped, and more about G in general. There was so much they could have focused on. The only pluses I see are Annette and Sherry. I may be one of the only people to think this, but RE2 was definitely not my favorite.


I enjoyed most of CV. I expected Steve to be annoying...and he didn't let me down. I would have liked to see Wesker beating the crap out of Claire and Steve...but I liked the touch after the battle where he's watching Claire and Chris leave Steve's body. Alexia was...meh. I loved Alfred though. And actually getting to shoot him was pretty fun.

Operation Javier was decent...up until close to the end. Though I have to say....Manuela was probably more useful than any of the in game partners. She actually fucking did something other than make a few comments from time to time and maybe once every ten minutes fire a shot. The end though....soooo terrible. And Krauser...I liked the changes. Seeing him as a good guy was cool...and towards the end we sort of saw how the idea of having such power was starting to get to him. I'm still certain it wasn't plagas but something else he was infected with during RE4. I think its safe to say that after what happened in DSC, he allowed Wesker to experiment on him.


As far as the actual gameplay...I agree with News Bot. The camera is terrible. I'm not sure if you can in DSC or not but at least in UC you could look around a small bit. Made it easier to find files. I also dislike the reload for the shotgun. It's quicker to just reload after a shot or two. I never really used the shotgun much...until at one point in RE2's lab where I was taking on two lickers at once. I got tongue raped to death in the time it took me to reload that damn shotgun. The only time I really liked it was against those big things that appear at the dam in O:J. And the partner....they should have just omitted that second health bar and went UC's way.

Just beat Operation: Javier on Hard, only to unlock Very Hard mode. I still have to beat the sub-scenario on Hard, though, which I'll do first. I only have one audio file left to find for Operation: Javier, and it's likely in one of those two final chapters. I'll have to go back through the CV scenario to see if I can find the audio file I missed. It's the first one, so hopefully that'll narrow down the number of chapters I have to play to find it.

Does anyone know how to beat Mr. X on the train platform?!
I keep dying! And when it tells me to shoot the rocket launcher, the camera is so damn shaky I can't aim properly!

There is a moment when he is kneeling down for a few seconds, that's your opportunity. The camera is very annoying, but at least you get infinite rocket launcher ammo.

Make sure you aim at his head, though. If you aim anywhere near his arms, he'll catch the rocket and throw it back towards you.

So far, I like it. Annettes's death struck me, though. It was just so... sad. Very different than the original. Also, Sherry crying from hearing about Annette's death in the end, .

Well, i didnt explain me very well in the other post, not that I dont like it (though I said that before) and her holding his brother in her arms was excellent (thoguh that way of looking screamed: YOU BASTARD) but but I preffer the new version of the awakening itself, I think that maybe Alexia felt that she was doing his brother a favor, that she was helping him ("I relieved him from his respansabilities" or something like that).

I know that she only wants power but you know, she maybe took the defeat of her brother by two random people as a act of slight to her so she wanted kill him for being defeat and Claire/Steve for defeating him, OR she just found a picture of Alfred dressed as her and that made her be angry so she killed him

Anyway I didnt liked Alfred, and I preffer bitchy villainess like the new Alexia (who looks like the White Witch played by Tilda Swinton in the Chronicles of Narnia)

PS. The T-078 was amazing. Very good looking, nice boss battle. Loved the excellent twist to its boss battle too, CVX + Survivor = !!!

Pity the camera is a complete piece of balls. It looks like someone just fucked a camera inside a washing machine, took it out, threw it around for a bit and then threw it into a tumble dryer before finally throwing it off a fucking cliff. What the hell, and the camera was meant to be WORSE than this before?
