None of the team that worked on Revelations or Operation Raccoon City are working on BH6 (so that tit Kawata isn't involved) and several previews have already commented that at least one scenario in the game is very similar to the style of horror featured in REmake. The team working on BH6 was responsible for the games that still had horror. Jun Takeuchi, who was responsible for BH5's lack of genuine progress in design and the action-orientated approach, no longer works on the series.

Kobayashi was involved in BH2, BH3, BH4, BHCV, BH0 and BH remake. He's also responsible for all of the awesome supplemental material in the series.
Sasaki was the director of the Outbreak games.
Hirabayashi was involved in BH remake and BH4, and worked on the story of BH5.

And that's just the main three men in charge, and they have a better overall vision for the series than Kawata, whose only real contributions to the series are two on-rails shooters (the better one of which he wasn't even in charge of).

With the success of Operation Raccoon City sales, if the game continues with support from Slant Six and does well with DLC revenue, I wonder if Capcom will buy the company? Half a million is damn good for America alone.

Don't forget that is sold through and not shipped. Now this made me bloody laugh, haha. That's very, very impressive for a game of that quality to be sold, even given when Mass Effect 3 and other known titles being sold at good prices. Kudos to Capcom, they sure know how to market. I can't believe that, it's made my day!

582k copies sold in US in March.

Research firm NPD revealed March video game sales results for the U.S. Total video game sales declined 25 percent year-over-year from $1.47 billion to $1.1 billion.

Turns out VGchartz was undertracking it by little over 100k.

I actually really liked the first Spec Ops mission...better than the USS first mission, IMO.

Jill ha s no personality at all? That sucks,, I mean gamewise she doesn't have an incredible amount of personality either but at least she has some basics...bleh.

So I take it this is the sort of game that I should buy when it becomes dirt cheap on PC? Since I want it more on my PC than on my consoles, all I can say is thank god that I cancelled my pre-order when I did considering how many bugs seem to be showing up and most retarded ones at that.

I downloaded mission 1 today. Boring. Couldn't even be assed to finish it. The end boss is just exactly the same as the Nemesis fight in the warehouse except this time your at a gas station. As expected Jill's cameo was pointless.

I think the Spec Ops missions shouldn't be more than 10US dollars for all of them.

I wish Capcom took the route of RE5's DLC. Lost In Nightmares and Desperate Escape were incredibly cheap and great fun.

This free "DLC" was just an advertisement for the actual DLC. A taster.

So does anyone know how much the rest of this game is going to cost us? I wasnt happy paying £30 for it and now they want more. The free DLC that we get doesnt even have any trophies, not that its vital but jesus could they be any bigger con artists.

Not that any of this matters as it's non-canon.
