The UBCS don't have a secret mission, only the Supervisors. Carlos was being honest, Echo 6 were not. Jill saw the bullshit and is why she suggested city hall for info on Umbrella. It isn't like this is cryptic.

Behave, John. I don't wanna see this thread degenerate into slinging mud at members when it'll take so much to totally bury Slant Six.

Slant Six Defence Force, assemble! Oh...it's just you? Well, kind of took the wind out of my sails there. I was expecting at least a few to turn up.

Not necessarily. I don't think Jill would leave anyone to a grisly fate unless they were Umbrella soldiers.

But the plot just gets funnier and funnier. Now Slant Six want us to believe that before Jill begrudingly teams up with the UBCS for the duration of Biohazard 3, she first fobs off a highly trained and heavily armed US Spec Ops team, preferring to try and escape alone.

The only half decent thing in the campaign mode they have done in regards to the other characters is when you are ordered to the power room to kill Leon after you see him kissing Ada. When you get there not only is Leon gone, but one of the soldiers comments that strangely the dead woman is also gone too.

That was a nice little touch.

I agree with both of these statements. When Nicholai shot Greg in Outbreak, it made me take his RE3 version far more seriously. And as for Jill saving your team from Nemesis, I think that would have been neat. Maybe a bit strange, but still a cool twist.

I just knew someone was going to throw that at me as soon as I typed it, and yeah granted there's not much to work with there.

I guess that's just how i've felt about the cameo's so far, same as I did with Hunk and Nicholai, they've made these absolutely iconic series characters mind numbingly dull. Nicholai's cameo in Outbreak were pretty neat, but in this he just appears, cackles then fucks off. At least in Outbreak he's a man of action, only appearing when something needs doing.

Just watched a video of the first DLC mission, and I actually like it better than any of the USS missions. Not that I like it, but I do think it's more interesting to be fighting alongside the protagonists as opposed to trying to eliminate them. But man, are Dee-ay, Party Girl, and Harley terrible characters. At least the other three aren't so bad. More interesting than the faceless USS team by far.

Jill looks horrible in-game, though. Her arms just seem so out of proportion to the rest of her body for some reason. Also, the in-game cutscenes where the soldiers appear look extremely cheaply done, but I guess that's expected from Slant Six.

As opposed to her deep personality in the canon games?

Well I was hoping for some slight improvement, but I actually think this first Spec Op mission is worse than any USS mission, it's absolutely awful in terms of pacing, and you can literally run all but two or three sections of the mission and despawn the zombies when you reach specific check points (which you could do in the main USS campaign but never quite as often as this).

Also, a brand new bug, Nemesis can tentacle grab you through scenery such as buildings if you get very lucky. I was around the corner away from him running to Jill, when I was turned around and teleported into his line of sight. Absolutely awesome.
