Bought it today. Enjoyed all 3 minutes of Revelations demo. Played Mercs for 10, started to feel sick and get a headache. Not good...

I can't play RE4 and RE5's merc games for more than five minutes without getting bored and wandering off. I don't really want to buy this so I can be bored and wander off while out of money I could have used for other things.

I gotta say, after trying the 3DS itself, I really want one. Hopefully, I'll first wrap up some financial issues that I have, and then I'll buy the thing with Mercs, when it's slightly cheaper.

I'm really enjoying it. It's a shame I have so many other games I want to play, because I could soak into this for a very long time.

To be honest, the game has grown on me. Its fine for what it is. I enjoy it much more with the 3d turned off though. Improves the graphics no end. Its actually a godsend when you have to get up at 5:30am with your kid every morning and can't get on the xbox as he is watching cbeebies all morning.

Have to say though, I am by no means a Mercs expert but this game is super easy.

And the Regenerator type things in Revelations are a hell of a lot menacing when you are actually playing the game. Watching videos they look stupid and unfinished but close up they are actually quite creepy.

I agree with Darkmoon here, i have same problem back when resident evil 4 came out .. i couldent play for more than 1 round or untill the time ran out. then i just stopped .. it wasent worth same goes for resident evil 5 okay i tried the diffrend modes, but still it just dident give me anything it wasent worth it so i wont spend money on a 3ds to get this game its just not worth it.
but okay for people who love it and wants it i can only say *Hell* go for it

Wouldn't buy it especially since I have read in other forums on negative thought's about merc 3D. I'll probably just wait for a friend to get this and play it since im kinda curious.

well i was gonan rent the damn thing but sadly gamefly has a unable to rent due to save restrictions on it...fuck you capcom just fuck you again from the bottom of my heart, now i have no choice but to buy it or wait til someone hacks and puts the demo online! damnit i was gonna buy the zero collection next week for my new 3ds!

I noticed some other rental places have done the same, yet they still rent other games with the same restriction. I put it down to them being misinformed, you miss very very little playing it after someone else, imagine if RE5 mercs had all the characters unocked already when you played it, ould that ruin it for you? Aside from that half the time you rent such games you have no idea how to reset the save file since many games do not put it as an option in the menu and you do get the instructions with it.

all honesty i just wanted to try the demo. i never like the merc minigames much and besides the tommy gun never played it much in 4. still hoping someone makes a hack and puts it on the next to play the demo. or capcom jsut releases the demo soon to the public
