I never really bothered about Leon, but if had to choose it would be RE2 Leon.

i didnt have a prob with him in re4. i would be bitter too if i had gone through what he has

He isn't so much bitter as completely lacking half of the human emotions. Yes, going through something like Raccoon City would probably make you less inclined to be afraid. But when monsters start popping out of people's skulls of things that are two plu stories high decide to stomp on you some kind of emotion, like worry, is good.

Combined with his smart arsed comments and his obvious, 'I'm so frickin awesome' attitude and he just irks the hell out of me in RE4.

"He's a dickhead" <---So had to pick just for the pure bluntness of that statement. RE2 Leon was ok for the first half of the game, but the "I wanna be a super hero and save you all!" was annoying. RE4 Leon was flat out annoying.

I choose RE2 Leon, as like the majority of other users stated, RE4 Leon was about as funny as a bullet in the foot.
