It's an error / glitch, it's just thowing out random crap characters it's the same as trying to view the files in a inventory slot.

What does 77745677 mean anyway? How is that relevant to the map? I thought it was a password lol. I must look like I've never played this game before lol, seriously it's been that long. Interesting to re-explore it like this, I'm kind of appreciating the genius of it a lot more.
Yes their called the MANSION KEY until you check them.
Sword Key = Chris: save room bed.
Sheild Key = Behind dining room grandfather clock.
Anyone know where they changed the ground floor map location to?
It's in the famous closet (where the zombie came out), but as already said:

Haven't came across it yet although I'm not that far into the game.
One thing though picking up the note in the wardrobe causes the game to crash...

By the way, it's the Moonlight Sonata notation to play with the piano, in yout case Rebecca should practice before playing correctly
Cool. Well, I chose the path for Rebecca to come with me, as opposed to her staying behind (she dissapears). Not sure how that effects things in the future of this run, but I had to pick one or the other...
Is that what the key is called, the Sword Key?
Figured it out, crashes are down to save state abuse...
I forgot you needed the Sword key from the save room with Chris to open / close the door anyway I managed to complete the puzzle to reveal the Shield key it's no different to the retail version apart from the wooden emblem is in the statue instead of the ground floor map, Jill opens it via her lockpick given by Barry.
I have been messing with a few flags but didn't use the key flag to unlock the door... Weird, now I've warped here it no longer crashes. :/ Perhaps the crash is related to unlocking the door as opposed to the room it's self...
There's a book on the shelf, what is this book? Sorry for the lame questions, LONG ass time since I played this game...
Strange

If you mean 31/01 I just finished the game with minor glitches, with Jill, don't know about Chris, I'll try to see.
It usually crashes when you mess with the Key Flag, as I've tested

Is there anything in this room that's required? Of course there's no predicting what might be in here in this build, but how about the retail game? Chris' chapter might not even be completable. :/ Did this room crash in Jill's chapter?
