Bore with the first gamevideos stream, then watched the HD version. The game seems to have improved significantly gameplay-wise. The controls in particular seem to a lot more customized to the player's style.

During the METAL GEAR 20th ANNIVERSARY PARTY, Konami announced an online version of Metal Gear Solid game for PS3 - Metal Gear Online will be officially goes into beta testing. The game will use the online multiplayer contents of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, but the world and control system will be based on the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 4.

From now till August 6, Konami will be accepting 3000 Online beta participants. The beta test period will last from August 20 till September 3.

the new metal gear solid trailer... i got sorta bored watching it like there's too much going on

I liked it, however the introduction of the 4 new bosses using scans of models etc seems to be a forced choice by Sony to demonstrate their new scanning/software they were whoring in previous E3's etc from what I can see.
I don't like the way the bosses etc are going, they seem pretty one dimensional, but everything else about the game looks great so far so i'll hold judgement.

do you think it's weird that kojima has released like over an hour of cutscene footage in these trailers.. i mean how long's the game gonna be if he's showing this much?

I wouldn't say its an hour, and considering MGS2 and 3 had hours worth of footage *with MGS2 having what 7-8 hours? with codecs etc*
I don't think we're being spoiled too much.
