This is phenomenal work, Ys1. Congratulations on such an in-depth analysis. This is precisely the stuff I've been working on for the past few months, and I'm surprised to see you have noted down things that I was previously unaware of.

Could you explain how you determined the earliest date of the build? I have yet to assert when the PSM build's development began. However, the date provided for the last changes in this build fits with the dates of the earliest final build footage; Hyper Playstation Re-Mix Vol. 3's videos, which contains the Drains B1 (Or B3?) segment playable, the new handgun animations and police officer zombie models in the Lobby (for Leon) is dated 27th of November of 1996.

The TGS footage of Leon in his civil clothes is from August 1996 (that's when TGS was held that year; 22nd of August of 1996). The materials released during October - November 1996 are actually from September - October 1996, as explained by iamcwesker to me in another threat. "The print magazines are printed with the date of publication of the next month". The footage of era 3 build (which I assume is what you're referring to as October - November 1996) was released in 1st of November of 1996 in Weekly Famitsu Issue #411. This means that footage was provided to Famitsu by Capcom a month (or two) early placing the era 3 build somewhere between September - October. Which fits with Elza appearing in-game between those dates you provided.

Yes. The 104 LOBBY CORRIDOR's entrance was shortened in the PSM build.

I'm not sure if the 4th image of 103 LOBBY and the 1st image of 107 OFFICE A had the camera angles re-positioned. Some of the images provided by Famitsu have slight cuts (as it can be evidenced by comparing the B1 Armory screenshots with the BGs). In the case of 107 OFFICE A it can be seen, nonetheless, that the chair is missing from the desk.

There was some discussion about these locations before.

Enigmatism415 proposed that revised room became this:

And I proposed the following for these:

Due to the pipes on the backgrounds, the lights on the ceiling and the intersection (?) at the end of the hallway.

    What do you think?

I don't think there are any corrections to be made. From what I can tell, you only seem to have forgotten one location, but that's about it.

You completely closed the case on these comparisons.

This is likely a build that has been butchered many times, I wouldn't take it's state as an example of anything.

You can guess by the state of things in it when directly compared to the Halloween trailer. Layer masks are missing, Super Shotgun and icon are missing, room triggers/flags are missing. Now it is a big assumption on my part but am confident it's much older.

And how would you know that exactly?

I think it's some graphical glitch. Remember, this build is older than the Halloween teaser, quite a bit older I would reckon.

Looks exactly like this other mask incorrect placement:

Yeah. Seems like a mask coordinate cock up or a persistant compression/macroblock misplacement in the picture/movie it's from.

    September / November 1996 Comparison

    October / November 1996 Comparison

That is a camera sprite/mask error, which is apparently broken in the Sept 1996 build.

It is too far right, and would simply need to be replaced.

Shutter hallway seems it originally was a bit longer coming from the Lobby.

Impressive, Ys1 ... most impressive ... Even the reversed police car at the entrance to Site C is there. Somebody needs to pin your post for a history of RE15 thread or page.

The December 7 version of "Site C" is supposed to have the parking and lobby loaded together as one room and connected by the broken glass window. Ada makes mention of the glass being broken by zombies in the cutscene in the "Forklift" room. Also, the files for the lab freezer room was overwritten with the final version of it on November 8, 1996. The PSM build uses an earlier version of the room without the second keypad panel on the storage unit.
