Considering it released on a Tuesday and not Friday like RE5 did, those sales are a lot worse than RE5 first week.

    Well Vgchartz estimates are in:

    RE6(PS3): 1,440,902

    RE6(360): 946,144

    Impressive sales, especially on PS3.

Apparently it only unlocks if you counter zombies.

As heavily inconsistent as RE6 is, this is definitely one of its stronger points. Nothing is more annoying than a game which has almost no extra content or replay value. And as you said, there's tons of games these days like that.

SFxT is a joke, 100% of the DLC content has been ready since retail release, the only "support" the game is getting is balance changes and bug fixes, and even then that's only because they done a poor job of balancing the game in the first place.

Zelda and Okami are not repetitive though, they just have lots of tasks/quests. RE6 is just the same thing repeated over and over.

I was not not being serious, incase the overuse of exclamations marks went over you head which it clearly did, otherwise you would have posted this and sounded like a melon. But I'll engage your argument because I got to pass 10 minutes while waiting for dinner to cook. Locking DLC on disc so can sell it while a crappy practice has obvious uses, in SFxT for example people do not need a large patch to play the 'DLC' characters, something older Xbox arcade owners would have missed out on for example since lack the hardrive space, is cheaper for Capcom to distribute also. Locking content on a disc when not even going to sell it though, that is just witholding parts of the game that the people buying it could just be enjoying. Capcom have likely done it in an attempt to feign some sort of support for the game, but it is not support when you take something away and withold it, SFxT did the same thing with costume colours, even still they are slowly unlocking extra colours for free on PSN and XBLA, but they all been ready to use day one, it is not support. Go ask the SFxT community how they feel about the support of the game. You'll find the majority answer being 'complete shit'.

Actual 'free' support is like what Mass Effect 3 is doing with the multiplayer map packs, bringing new maps, new races, new classes to download and play for the multiplayer and it being actual new content added. Not witholding stuff on disc and unlocking it later.

This game asks a bit too much to get 100% completion, currently you need 28 campaign playthroughs, 4 different difficulties for each, 2 characters for each difficulty, when Ada gets co-op that will bring it up to 32 camapaign playthroughs, No Hope Left will bring it to 40 campaign playthroughs. This is not counting repeat playthroughs of chapters should you fail to get an S-rank.

I'm not sure if medals play into the 100% completion or not, but some of those, agent hunt especially, can be impossible to get if your luck is bad enough and do not get the right enemy type, in right area of the game, in J'avo case you don't get damaged by the player correctly to mutate correctly, in order to then just attempt certain attacks that are needed for medals.

You dont have to get 100% in the game and what does it matter to you if the difficultly of getting 100% is hard? If you feel its too much then dont do it. My god most of you RE fans are just never satisfied

All I hope is that if you don't choose co-op for Ada, it keeps her single-player and not adding an AI whatever-it-is. I liked it a lot actually.

Gotcha. I actually prefer fighting the J'avo in Mercenaries, though; for some reason they're easier for me to get melee kills on.
